Excellent beach to bring the family. Parking is only $10, great views and amenities.
Always love going to the beach. From Field 5, it's an easy walk East down the beach to Fire Island.
Closest parking lot to Fire Island. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Fire Island lighthouse and the beaches are a lot quieter than the other ones in the area. There was no lifeguards the few times I went and the current was strong. Be careful if you don’t know how to swim or if you’re going with children.
Nice beach but waves are rough, be very careful with you go with little kids!
